The religious sites had many things in common, but also lots of differences. The Chinese Temple and the Hindu Temple were very colorful, but the Mosque had barely any colors, only white and black and some few other colors. The Chinese temple was full of colors, especially red, and the Hindu temple had green, blue, white, black, and so many others. The Hindu temple and the Mosque was very hollow, empty and spacious. On the other hand, the Chinese temple was full of statues, candles, pillars, tables, and food. The Hindu temple and the Mosque didn't have a special scent or smells, because they were in an open space, but the Chinese temple had very strong scents of the candles. The Mosque was very geometric, because their designs were all geometric shapes and geometric patterns. But, The Chinese temple and the Hindu temple had much more drawings, paintings, sculptures and symbols more than anything. All of those religions has some kind of being like god, and also Buddhism and Hinduism looks like they have more than one god. All of those religions practice praying to the gods, and there is certain time for praying, but you can always stop by (You can go in the temples even if it's not praying time). The one I find most interesting is the Buddhism, because their temple looked very interesting. It was so colorful, with mostly red, and there were food on the table all the time, which was unusual. They sold things such as fortune paper and fortune cookies. They lit up candles that had a very strong scent, and it was so strong that sometimes my nose would hurt. They also had a step, that you had to step over to chase away the bad luck in you. Overall, the field trip was very fun, and there were lots of interesting things to see. I had a great time.
Almost everything in the Islam Mosque is geometric, and they have patterns, like the arch.
This is the roof of the Hindu temple. It has so much sculptures and drawings of gods.
The chinese temple always keeps candles lit, and they have a strong scent.

Stand Up and Speak Out
"Expressing my opinion is not a terrorist action." -Kat Stratford-
What I think, is that if you disagree with a rule, law, or public policy, it is always better to speak out and risk punishment, rather than just remaining silent. If you always remain silent, you'll never achieve anything. But if you speak out to public, you have some chance of changing the rule, law, or public policy. For example, after the Great War, the germany had to go through the treaty rule. If they just remained silent ant that time, Germany would have never grown to be such a strong and powerful country. Instead, they stood up and spoke out that the treaty rule was unfair, and achieved their goal. So I think it's best to speak out for what you think. Stand Up!

A 'GOOD' Life
In my opinion, a good life, is something extremely hard to get, and at the same time, what everyone lives for. I think the definition of a 'good' life is being any other person's hero, and achieving your life goal. But, the biggest of all, being who you want to be.
I think being a hero to other person is like a checkpoint saying that you've came quite far to reaching a 'good' life. I think being a hero is important because, if you have a person that looks up to you, first, you'll be happy because you know that someone likes you, and shows respect to you. Also, you'll know that it's good to have someone looking up to you, and work even harder to make more people look up to you. But at the same time, I think you should have your own hero also. Next, is achieving your life goal. Your life goal might be something like, what job you want to have, when you grow up. If you can achieve that goal, you can live happily forever, because you've achieved what you lived your life for. Lastly, I think being who you want to be is the biggest, and the most important gate you want to open in your life. To be who you want to be, you have to put in so much effort, and also you have to achieve other things first, to be 'who you want to be'. If you can be who you want to be, that means you have so many choices in your life. After achieving all these things, you'll really have got a 'good' life, and you'll be happy to die when you grow up.

Double O Nothing Spy -Storm Breaker-
The book 'Stormbreaker' is set in London, England, and the main characters so far are Alex Rider, Herod Sayle, Jack Starbright, Crawley, Mr. Blunt, Mrs. Jones, Wolf, Eagle, and Snake. Alex is a 14 year old boy, and the book starts off with a funeral of Alex's uncle named Ian Rider, and now Alex has no one to take care of him since his parents died in a plane crash a few weeks after Alex was born. Therefore, a woman named Jack Starbright, a babysitter, who's from America, comes to take care of Alex. Alex and Jack was told that Ian died in a car crash, because he wasn't wearing a seat belt. Alex thought it was strange, and later he finds out that actually, Ian was shot. The manager of the bank, 'Royal & General', Crawley invites him to talk with him at the bank, and when Crawley arrived at the bank, he's taken to the 15th floor, and then Crawley shoots him with a drugged dart. Fortunately, he seems to be fine, and Mr. Bunt tells him that Royal and General isn't a bank and it's something called 'Special Operations Division of M16'. Then Mr. Blunt tells him that his uncle was a spy, who was on a mission of reporting about a computer called 'Stormbreaker', which a computer genius named Herod Sayle made. But by someone, Ian was killed, so Mr. Blunt is asking Alex to join them. The journey so far in this book is that Alex has to go through a high intensive training and sneak into Herod's house and comeback to report about the computer.
Mrs. Jones said, "Be careful, Alex. And good luck.(pg. 84)" I chose this quote because it clearly tells that this journey(or mission), will be a life-risking journey. It also tells a little about what the book is going to be about. It means that now Alex has got a mission to accomplish and it's kind of the beginning of the climax.
